Empowering Lives Through
Compassion And Support
At Helping Gods Children Org., we are dedicated to making a positive impact in the community. Our mission is to provide essential services and support to those in need. Through our various programs and initiatives, we strive to empower individuals and families, creating a brighter future for all. Join us in our efforts to bring about positive change and make a difference in the lives of others.
Our Mission
For over three decades, Helping Gods Children Org. has been a pillar of support within the Los Angeles community, providing essential services and uplifting those in need. In 2013, we officially transitioned into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, allowing us to expand our reach and make a lasting impact.
Over the years, we have hosted numerous fundraisers and charity events, including our annual Back to School Drive and Christmas Toy Drive, generously sponsored by Honda. This year, we are proud to partner with Macy’s to launch our Sponsored Makeover Events, part of our mission to empower and beautify individuals across the city.

Our Mission is to create safe havens and provide essential resources for all of God’s children, regardless of age, background, or circumstance. Through our newly acquired storefront, we aim to offer critical services and engage the community in meaningful ways. This space will be a hub for support, awareness, and empowerment as we work to make a more beautiful Los Angeles.

2024 Expansions
New Community Partnerships
Additionally, we are expanding our enrichment programs in areas such as music, film, and fitness, in collaboration with partners like Treble Girl Ent., Treble Girl Studios, Cobra Crosby Fitness, and Jay Crenshaw Films. These programs aim to nurture talent, creativity, and personal development within the community, offering a positive outlet for both children and adults.

Community Partnerships: We believe that building a more beautiful Los Angeles starts with working together. That’s why we are actively seeking partnerships with local community leaders, schools, churches, and organizations to bring our vision to life. Through these partnerships, we aim to expand our reach, provide crucial services, and foster a sense of unity and empowerment.

Our God Made Me Beautiful Project: At the heart of our efforts is the God Made Me Beautiful Project, where we offer makeovers, self-esteem building, and enrichment opportunities to individuals in need. This project is designed to inspire confidence, hope, and resilience, especially for those who have faced hardship. With our new storefront, we will have a dedicated space to continue this mission, raise awareness, and gather donations and contributions that will help us expand our impact.

What We're Seeking:
We are seeking funding, in-kind donations, and partnerships to support the acquisition and development of our new storefront. This space will serve as a center for our community programs, donation drives, and other initiatives. Through the generous contributions of donors, sponsors, and volunteers, we will be able to continue providing these vital services and create lasting, positive change in the lives of those we serve.

Together, we can build a more beautiful, empowered, and thriving Los Angeles.
